Stayed at an ensuite powered site. Loved the lockable toilet and shower, awesome idea. The site was easy to back into, the park itself was nicely kept and set in a nice quiet location just back from the main highway. Staff were lovely. Only thing that came to mind during our stay is that a bin/skip bin at the rear of the park would be beneficial, not a big drama as we just took our rubbish out with us and dumped in the bins at the front whenever we drove out, but one a bit closer by would have been good.
Overall, we had a great time and will definitely stay again.
What a great place to stay. Darwin is an incredible place, people are friendly and lots to do and the best part about it is the Hidden Valley Caravan Park. ||It is a quick drive into town down a major freeway and the park is well maintained …
Such a delight to find super friendly and helpful people at the end of my long adventure. Pulled up after hours without a reservation and was treated exceptionally well. The location was ideal to return a rental campervan and head to the …
I have certain quality standards when I think of Big 4. Half of the park would meet these standards (just) and the other half absolutely would not. Half of the park is a tree-less waste on the border of some kind of huge construction site. No shade. Lots of dust and because of no shade it feels very close to your neighbour. We moved from this part of the park to the older part which has lots of grass and trees. We also felt ripped as we only needed an unpowered site and were pushed into a powered site because the unpowered site was too hard to find by ourselves after 5pm.... also why does reception close at 5pm? Isn't this the peak time when people are turning up? We did have a quick look at the other caravan parks in Darwin and they didn't seem much more attractive. If the others were better I would have given this one 1 or 2 stars. Oh, this one is very close to the motor door complex so excellent engine noise on the days it's operating
Staying at this holiday park for a couple of months. Nice clean pool. Amenities are very clean and spacious. Staff are lovely. Playgrounds, BBQ's all around the ground. Nice clean laundry 👌 would stay here again.
Great location in Darwin. The room was great . In walking distance Down the road from the Midway hotel .
The room was clean & tidy .
Fridge , coffee making , Air conditioner, on-suite bathroom.
My room was pretty modern.
We arrived after hours and a maintenance man on a bike booked us in for 1 night on an unpowered site. It was $50, which is way overpriced. We were woken up at about 6am by construction directly next to our site. When I gave them feedback as leaving the lady at the counter was quick to interrupt me and say, 'you were told about the construction'. Actually no, we weren't and that doesn't take away from the fact $50 per night for an unpowered site is a complete rip off, let alone when you are right next to a massive construction site and woken up by machinery at 6am
Not only are the rooms excellent quality, it is a bargain price at this time of year !
Excellent location for me in between Darwin and Palmerston but what makes the best impression for me is the manager Dani, so warm and welcoming !
Thank you, will recommend !
